Desert Queen

Hello Loveies,

How are you ? Today I am dreaming of Coachella! Who doesn’t want to dance away their weekend, have fun and look cute while doing so?! I mean I love a reason to pull out all my boho (Bohemian) pieces, but let’s be real I never need a reason because I simply love my boho! Although I have never been to Coachella I have read many blogs, watched a ton of YouTube videos and Basically I am obsessed. I love festivals. Music is in my bonez. I have attend many of Insomniacs music festivals. While Coachella weekend is going on a lot of fashion gatherings are happening such as Style Haul which is also on my bucket list! It’s where loads of all types of fashion bloggers such WordPress, YouTubers,Intagramers gather and of course chat it up, blog, eat and enjoy each others fashion.

When summer comes my style is boho. My inspiration durning summers are the 60’s, 70’s. Big round sunglasses, maxi dresses, flowers in hair, gladiator sandals.

As Coachella is held for three days, I styled three different outfits one for each day! Since I have attended many music festivals I have learned to plan out my outfits ahead of time. The last thing you want to be doing is stressing out on what to wear when you get to your hotel. From a lot of research it seems the weather is like home, a very dry hot desert. The one difference would be in the evening. Since the festival is held in California which is close to the ocean, it tends to get a bit chilly at night.

During this shoot for this weeks blog it was cold and the clouds kept covering the sun which was only making me crave the sunny California skies more. For all of the outfits below I would pair with a jean jacket. They are warm and easy to carry.

My first outfit is the wild card. A black velvet deep v one piece. Over laid with a paisley kimono that has fridge all the way around the bottom. I wanted to have a gypsy feel to it so I added a head scarf. For my shoes I picked high brown soldier boots.

This skirt is to die for ! Its soft suede and the fringe is to adorable. I wanted it to be the show of this outfit. I paired it with black boots and a crop top. For the accessories, a turquoise beaded necklace, a cuff with turquoise moon stone and a silver native belt. Of course to protect my face from the sun, I am wear a big hat.

OMG! That tribal print! I saw this dress and yea lets just say I had to have it. It’s a shift dress which I like on my body shape. The dress is light weight and easy to move in. I paired it with some comfy brown moccasins. Since I like to pack light on vacations, I used the same jewelry as my previous outfit. To complete the outfit I add a tan hat.

I can’t wait to see what new outfits show up for Coachella. I look forward to see the Jenner sisters,Sophia Chang and Evelina Berry. Who are you most excited to see?

I hope these outfits gave you some inspiration for your boho look. See you all next Thursday. Please leave comments and let me know what you would like to see next week! Also don’t forget to stop by my Instagram for daily photos. Catch me if you can on SnapChat. Have a wonderful day. As always thank you for taking time out of your day to spend with me.

Xoxo💋
