Hello lovelies!
Happy Thursday! No work for me today which also means No time limits and free as a bird. Waking up and getting ready on days off especially exciting because I mean who really likes to be on a time limits? Not this girl! The mere fact that I can dance around in between outfit choices and shoe selections makes my soul happy! Today I curled my hair, painted myself pretty and headed out the door for a new adventure with an adorable my new spring dress on.
I started at Zendo •my favorite local coffee nook• where I had to try the new lavender coffee they were featuring which was off the charts with spot in spring flavors! Spring dress with my new spring coffee…talk about a spring fling! Local coffee shops are perfect for my blogging and editing sessions.
The dress I styled is black with floral print. Very light weight for the spring or summer. For my shoes I added a pair of blocked wood heels to elevate the look. Since I wanted to take a little adventure and walk around I brought some red braided flats. The weather was perfect for a stroll so I couldn’t resist.
After Zendo I walked up the bridge above the trains to see the scape of the city .My dress was flowing in the wind and It was just then when I was inspired to write this blog. I love dressing up for myself whether I am in a rush or have all the time in the world. So for those of you out there dressing up for just you on a day off or in a rush off to a busy day full of work this is for you! Best advice to you when looking to add to your wardrobe is to keep in mind the following: of course make sure you’re comfortable in it. Does it make you happy? Could see yourself wearing it more than once? If so then it’s a must!
This dress is so fun and playful. The back of the dress has criss-cross straps so I could definitely wear to this dress on different occasions!
By now you’ve noticed my obsession with my clutches right? Ha well today I chose my leather mustard yellow clutch which matches the flowers on the dress.
Thanks for letting me espress•o my ideas with you and spending my day off with me! Can’t wait until next Thursday! If you want more of my tips or outfit ideas come back or find me on Snap Chat, Twitter and Instagram
Xoxo,
Alyssa
