Do you have any big plans for the long weekend? Labor Day always feels like the last time to really savor summer before it is full steam ahead into fall.
I know that fall will be here before we know it but it’s not here yet so this weekend I am going to celebrate under the warm sunshine! I picked this mini romper which I’m calling ‘baby blues to my summer’. Two things about this romper that had me at hello were the princess ruffle straps and the pockets!! I just love anything with pockets. One of the reasons I love rompers, particularly in the summer is they are easy. You put one on, you look pulled together, and you don’t have to labor over what top or pants/shorts to wear. Then you can simply throw on shoes, a few accessories and you’re done. It has the ease of a dress, but with the added security and function of shorts. Rompers are also deceiving to the eye, in a fun way, because they look like a dress which gives them a cool and fun factor.
Important Fashion Note: No matter your body shape, height or age there’s a romper that’s perfect for you. Tall gals can get away with long, sweeping pieces, while shorter gals benefit from shorter hemlines and the illusion to look longer.
Funny thing about rompers is I always find myself so excited to jump into a romper but then laugh at myself will using the bathroom completely naked!! Haha It’s the joys of wearing a full piece. That’s the one and only thing that I don’t like about rompers and I definitely have to let my fellow gals know about that. However I do suggest you at least have two in your closet!
This look I styled is effortless and a great example to help inspire your romper look. After I pulled up my romper, I buckled my single strap nude patten heels on and was ready for my accessories. Today I wanted to wear wood accessories so, I picked these really cool white leather bracelets that have wood shapes on them. They are lite weight and remind me of being a kid! So the grand finale of this outfit is my summer lovin’ piece! Let’s just say my eyes popped out of my head and my mouth dropped when I saw this clutch! It’s so different and unique! The wood work and how it opens and closes. The shape is a “U” so it rocks back and forth when you put it down. Told you I love clothing or accessories that move, it’s just fun!

Stay chic!See you back here next Thursday!Let’s break the rules and style some white after Labor Day!
